It's important to care for your waterbed so that it lasts for years to come. Here are proper steps to protect your investment.
-
Ensure proper support for your waterbed. The additional weight of water requires stronger bedframe support than traditional bedding.
-
For single and dual mattresses, add the supplied bottle of conditioner when first filling it. Mattresses with individual tubes/cylinders come pre-conditioned.
-
The initial supply of conditioner lasts 3-6 months. After this time, more must be added. Follow the instructions on the bottle for length of use.
-
Always be sure to firmly replace the pull cap and seal onto the valve after adding conditioner.
-
Use a high quality, washable mattress pad to help keep your mattress clean and stain-free. Mattress pads will also help to absorb body oils that may contribute to break down the vinyl in your mattress. Be sure to wash your mattress pad regularly.

Small, visible puncture holes may be repaired with a patch kit. Seam leaks cannot be repaired and are covered by the manufacturer's warranty for a limited time only (refer to your warranty card).
